Tips in Making Homemade Ice Cream: Vanilla Flavor

This type of ice cream is called the Philadelphia style or the American style. Before starting the process, make sure that all your equipments and tools are ready. In addition, check all the ingredients if they are complete. You will need sugar, cream and milk. Heat up the combination of the three ingredients stated above in low heat to dissolve the sugar. After the sugar is dissolved, transfer the mixture into a glass container and stir 2 teaspoons of vanilla. Chill the mixture for at least two hours or you can chill it overnight to obtain the best results.
Afterwards, get your Cuisinart ice cream mixer and pour your cold ice cream mixture. Turn it on and let it churn for about 20 to 25 minutes. As time passes by, you will see that the mixture gets a lot thicker and the sound starts to change. When it already has a frozen yogurt type of thickness and consistency, remove the container and place a plastic cover over the mixture. Place it in the freezer for a few hours and wait until it firms up. After that, you can already enjoy eating your delicious ice cream.
